Common questions
Do you do pool opens and closes?+
Yes - spring open and fall close at $249 each (residential pool). Open includes filter prime, equipment startup, chemistry balance to swim-ready, and cover storage. Close includes equipment winterize, water level adjustment, and cover install.
Do you handle vinyl liner replacement or pool resurfacing?+
No - those are specialty jobs requiring a pool resurfacer. We refer to a Kelowna pool specialist for liner work, plaster, or fibreglass repair. We CAN handle the mechanical side (pump, heater, jets, plumbing) and the chemistry / cover / routine work.
Is the STR compliance log enough for City of Kelowna licensing?+
It covers the items City of Kelowna inspectors check on STR properties with pools or hot tubs: drain covers VGB-compliant, fence at minimum 1.2m with self-latching gate, no climbable features within 1.2m of fence, safety equipment (ring buoy + reach pole) present and accessible. We deliver the log + photos in PDF so hosts can hand it to the inspector directly.
How often should I have routine maintenance done?+
Residential: monthly during swim season (May-September) and quarterly off-season for hot tubs. STR properties on our program: weekly during peak booking, biweekly shoulder season - per the program tier. Heavy-use properties may need more; light-use ones can stretch.
