$95 covers the trip and the first hour on-site. If we finish in 30 minutes, we spend the rest on anything else on your list: change a lightbulb, tighten a loose handle, whatever's been bugging you. We don't bill in 15-minute increments mid-job.

Yes. The number on the quote is the number on the invoice. We don't "start the meter" once we're on-site. The only time the price changes is if we open something up and find genuine unexpected damage (rotten subfloor under a faucet, mystery wiring behind a wall). Even then, we stop, show you what we found, and re-quote before doing any extra work. No quiet up-charges, ever.

No. Every recurring plan we offer is no-fixed-term. Honey-Do Monthly cancels with one click in your account. Short-term rental maintenance retainers pause for the off-season or cancel any time with 7 days notice before the next billing cycle. We don't believe in trapping you in something that isn't working. The whole point of the model is that you stay because we're worth it.

Yes. We bring common materials (drywall mud, screws, anchors, basic paint, hardware) and charge them at cost on the invoice. For specific items (a particular faucet, paint colour, light fixture) we'll either pick it up with a small materials run fee, or you can have it on-site when we arrive.

Yes. $2 million general liability through a Canadian carrier. WorkSafeBC clearance letter available on request, which matters for seniors, property managers, and strata work. We can email both certificates before your booking if you want them on file.

Once you approve your quote, most weekday jobs get a same-week slot. Same-day is often possible if you call before noon. We hold a small dispatch window for emergencies. Saturday mornings 8 to 2 are standard. Sunday is emergency-only with a $75 dispatch surcharge.

Every technician on-staff goes through a criminal record check before their first job and we keep them on file. We'll send you a photo of your tech 30 minutes before they arrive so you know who's coming to the door.

Card on completion: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Interac. Tap or insert on a mobile reader. Receipt and 90-day labour warranty come by email within an hour of the job ending. For recurring subscription plans (Honey-Do, short-term rental), payment is monthly to your card on file.

90-day warranty on labour. If something we did fails inside 90 days (bracket pulls out of the wall, faucet leaks at the connection we made, drywall patch cracks), we come back, fix it, no charge. Doesn't cover misuse, separate parts failures, or anything we flagged at the time as a stopgap fix.

We're set up for repairs, installs, and projects up to about 3 days. Full kitchen or bathroom rebuilds, additions, structural work go to trusted Kelowna general contractors we'll refer you to. Tell us what you're thinking and we'll point you in the right direction either way.

No. Locally owned and run, Kelowna only. One business licence, one phone number, one website, one set of insurance certificates. If something goes wrong you'll talk to a real person on the same day, not a national call centre.

Free cancellation up to 12 hours before your slot. Inside 12 hours we charge the 1-hour minimum ($95) because we've already turned down other bookings for that window. Reschedules at any time, no charge.

Posted rates, real insurance, WCB clearance, background-checked techs, a written warranty, and proper invoices for your books or insurance. None of that comes free. It's also the difference between a tradesperson and a guy with a truck. If price is the only thing that matters for your job, we'll happily point you elsewhere.
